1. Introduction
Welcome to Doctor 4 Africa. These Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) govern your use of our web pages located at https://www.doctor4africa.com/ and our mobile application Doctor 4 Africa (together or individually “Service”) operated by Africa Health Limited , UK and Primus Ventures ,India. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.
2. Definitions
- “Service” refers to the Doctor 4 Africa website, which provides a platform for connecting patients with healthcare vendors in Africa.
- “User” refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service, including patients and healthcare vendors.
- “Healthcare Vendor” refers to any healthcare provider, practitioner, facility, or service listed on the platform.
- “Content” refers to all information, text, graphics, photos, or other materials uploaded, downloaded, or appearing on the Service.
3. Use of Service
3.1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms and to abide by all of the terms and conditions set forth herein.
3.2. User Accounts: To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, including but not limited to the restriction of access to your computer and/or account. You agree to accept responsibility for any and all activities or actions that occur under your account and/or password.
3.3. Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3.4 Account Security : You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.
3.5. Prohibited Uses: You agree not to use the Service:
- For any unlawful purpose or to solicit the performance of any illegal activity or other activity which infringes the rights of Doctor 4 Africa or others.
- To impersonate or attempt to impersonate any person or entity.
- To engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Service, or which may harm Doctor 4 Africa or users of the Service.
- To interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
- In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation.
4. Purchases
If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.
You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete.
We may employ the use of third party services for the purpose of facilitating payment and the completion of Purchases. By submitting your information, you grant us the right to provide the information to these third parties subject to our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for reasons including but not limited to: product or service availability, errors in the description or price of the product or service, error in your order or other reasons.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected.
5. Contests and Promotions
Any contests, sweepstakes or other promotions (collectively, “Promotions”) made available through Service may be governed by rules that are separate from these Terms of Service. If you participate in any Promotions, please review the applicable rules as well as our Privacy Policy. If the rules for a Promotion conflict with these Terms of Service, Promotion rules will apply.
6. Subscriptions
Some parts of Service are billed on a subscription basis (“Subscription(s)”). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (“Billing Cycle”). Billing cycles are set either on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the type of subscription plan you select when purchasing a Subscription.
At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or we cancel it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal either through your online account management page or by contacting our customer support team.
A valid payment method, including credit card or PayPal, is required to process the payment for your subscription. You shall provide us with accurate and complete billing information including full name, address, state, zip code, telephone number, and a valid payment method information. By submitting such payment information, you automatically authorize us to charge all Subscription fees incurred through your account to any such payment instruments.
Should automatic billing fail to occur for any reason, we will issue an electronic invoice indicating that you must proceed manually, within a certain deadline date, with the full payment corresponding to the billing period as indicated on the invoice.
7. Free Trial
We may, at our sole discretion, offer a Subscription with a free trial for a limited period of time (“Free Trial”).
You may be required to enter your billing information in order to sign up for Free Trial.
If you do enter your billing information when signing up for Free Trial, you will not be charged by us until Free Trial has expired. On the last day of Free Trial period, unless you cancelled your Subscription, you will be automatically charged the applicable Subscription fees for the type of Subscription you have selected.
At any time and without notice, we reserve the right to (i) modify Terms of Service of Free Trial offer, or (ii) cancel such Free Trial offer.
8. Fee Changes
We at our sole discretion and at any time, may modify Subscription fees for the Subscriptions. Any Subscription fee change will become effective at the end of the then-current Billing Cycle.
We will provide you with a reasonable prior notice of any change in Subscription fees to give you an opportunity to terminate your Subscription before such change becomes effective.
Your continued use of Service after Subscription fee change comes into effect constitutes your agreement to pay the modified Subscription fee amount.
9. Refunds
Except when required by law, paid Subscription fees are non-refundable.
10. Healthcare Vendors
10.1. Verification: While we strive to verify the credentials and qualifications of Healthcare Vendors listed on our platform, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all information provided. Users are encouraged to independently verify the credentials of any Healthcare Vendor they choose to engage with.
10.2. No Endorsement: Listing of a Healthcare Vendor on our platform does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or representation of the quality of services provided by that vendor.
10.3. Responsibility: Healthcare Vendors are solely responsible for the services they provide. [Doctor 4 Africa] is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the services provided by Healthcare Vendors.
11. Healthcare Services
11.1 Nature of Service: Doctor 4 Africa is a platform connecting users with healthcare providers. We do not provide medical services directly.
11.2. Emergency Services: The Service is not intended for use in medical emergencies. In case of a medical emergency, please contact your local emergency services immediately.
11.3. Medical Advice: Any medical information provided through the Service is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
11.4 No Doctor-Patient Relationship : Use of the Service does not create a doctor-patient relationship between Doctor 4 Africa and any user. Such relationships are formed directly between users and healthcare providers.
12. User-Generated Content
12.1 Content Ownership : You retain any and all of your rights to any content you submit, post or display on or through the Service and you are responsible for protecting those rights.
12.2 Content Restrictions : You agree not to post content that:
- Is false, misleading, or fraudulent.
- Infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party.
- Is defamatory, obscene, invasive of another’s privacy, or otherwise objectionable.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
13.1. Privacy Policy: Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference, explains how we collect, use, and disclose information that pertains to your privacy.
13.2. Data Protection: We comply with applicable data protection laws in the countries where we operate. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, storage, processing, and transfer of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
16. Limitation of Liability
16.1. Disclaimer: Your use of the Service is at your sole risk .The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Africa Health Limited makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Service or the information, content, materials, or products included on the Service.
16.2. Limitation: In no event shall Africa Health Limited , nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
17. Waiver and Severability
No waiver by Company of any term or condition set forth in Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of Company to assert a right or provision under Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
If any provision of Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of Terms will continue in full force and effect.
18. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India , without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
19. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes.
